Definitely New York. Attending FIT or Parsons in NYC is a great way to start. You'll swot up what you need to work in the cult industry, make the right connections, and will have a better accidental of working in the industry after you graduate.
FIT is a little difficult to attain into though (I got rejected - twice), and Parsons is ridiculously expensive, but if you're serious about a work in fashion, consequently go for it. I used to want to work in mode, but I'm kinda over it now. If it's your dream though, definitely pursue it. I desire you the best of luck! =)

Learn a second and/or third language. It will be a great asset. Your greatest, however, will be a great working portfolio. Keep everything especially organized and have it ready for any interview. If you can, find a mentor who is experienced within getting investots, vendors, etc. Someone who knows the ins and outs of the business will be invaluable contained by launching your products. If you don't want to start your own line and only want to enjoy an accessory position in a company, merely keep doing great work and applying for great positions. Surround yourself with loyal and talented individuals at all times.
