What is the best place contained by Colorado for some one who have never skied until that time to swot?

I agree with Cucumber. Copper Mountain is a good place to start.
If you desire to go there filch the American Flyer all the way up and lift 'Coppertone' down. Coppertone is a very very long student slope (green circle)
Another resort is Beaver Creek, if you decide to go nearby take the Centennial Express all the opening up and 'Cinch' down. Cinch is also a very very long neophyte slope.
These long green runs are the best to learn on, by the time you get down to the bottom you've literary to ski!
I disagree with Michael because bunny hills are difficult to revise on. Just when you are getting the hang of it the run is over and you have to jump up to the top again and hopefully find your rhythm again. Whereas, with a long beginner slope you hold learning all the method down without interruption.
One warning tho, formulate sure your equipment is on properly, fit properly and are comfortable before you get on the heave. It's a long walk down if you discover equipment problems.

you shouldnt travel to calorado to learn to ski. CO. is only great because they enjoy so much to go on but you might as well turn to a cheap mountain to learn cuz youll only be on the bunny hummock for your vacation
Many others will snub this suggestion, but I would recommend Loveland. They proffer a varitey of classes other than your typical "day child/adult lesson". Although it's smaller, I consider it's great for that very reason so that a apprentice isn't overwhelmed...and you don't have to go through the Ike and verbs about beating traffic.
