Try an independent bike shop, the staff are mostly more helpful than Halfords (who are useless). In Middx, you are near Action Bikes who enjoy branches in south west London or Cycle Surgery with big branches around London. Or else near are some websites you can try like fisheroutdoor.co.uk

Loads of places in Essex. A big bike shop by the marketplace in Basildon town centre and a really huge tentative site selling every sort of bike imaginable at the Tarpots junction on the A13 at Benfleet. Coming from London on the vanished just before the Tarpots roundabout. The A13 is the feeble Southend road ,more or less straight all the bearing from Aldgate . There may be bigger sites nearer I don't know of course. Source(s): Live near them.
