Where's the best place to gain computer parts to generate my own PC?
I'm trying to make my own gaming PC so I can play crysis on the maximum settings and run the fastest and bestest on those settings and I don't know where to obtain parts without going online and getting them. Any help?

Well if you can't walk online, you are really limiting your choices. All the best hardware is available online only. Or if you find it in a retail store, it's going to cost 200% more. CompUSA and Circuit City are out of business in a minute (well, CC still exists, but is online only I think). That leaves Best Buy and Staples. And if you are lucky enough to hold one near you, there is Fry's. Not profusely of selection for hardware without going online.
But if you hold a Best Buy near you...
You could start with a prebuilt system by Asus or Compaq, as both of these are strictly cheap. Look for 3GHz CPU clock speed and multi-core CPU. That will give you a good start. Then you will want to without hesitation replace both the power supply and the video card with something decent. Like a HD 4770 or 4800 series and a 650W power supply by BFG or Corsair or some other fully clad brand. You should be able to find all that at Best Buy.
As far as starting from score with nothing and choosing individual components? There is approaching nothing left within the retail world (OFFline) that will really allow you to do that without spending many hundreds of dollars more than is required.
