Where is the best place to drain a clothes washer contained by an apartment?
The sources I have available are a small 1.5" hot water reservoir overflow floor drain or a 2-21/2" sink drain? Before going to a plumber, are any of these areas reccommended to drain a small 24" 3.3 gallon per load washer to? Thanks.

I've gonet to the kitchen sink but stand by and be ready to turn off the pump. It's singular 3.3 gal. so no biggy.
2" is code for a washing machine drain. the dampen heater overflow goes outside. the sink drains to the sewage plant or septic cistern.
jay is right but code wont let you drain it to the sink if you nouns off of it because it say suds will support up into your sink. but if it was my house and nothing else is close at hand i would go there. but the plumber might see something that your missing correct luck :0)
