Where is the best place to buy a 55 gallon reservoir and/or stand?
Answers:
craigslist for sure! Just be sure if you are using it for fish that you require that they permeate it up with water first to manufacture sure it is sealed well. Also, NEVER walk pick up an item alone, and meeting them in a public place would be even better. I enjoy seen tanks that size on craigslist near stands and entire setup and accessories for fish or reptiles for as low as $100 or as low as $30 for just the container and stand
Cheapest !! PetsMart or sometimes the local retail monster Wal-Mart.
Garage sale you never know what you get and on-line is just as risky.
If you hold a Business lic. one could get one or a hundred from a Manufacture. I have hear of enthusiasts that do that so they can get good deal for their elaborate displays.
ebay.-for used and new.
Or like a petstore-petco, pets +, petsmart
or even walmart-our walmart here sell 55 and 75 gallon tanks. They run 88.00 for the 55-that include the lights and hood, and 125 for the 75.00, which includes the lights and hood. Stands are also available at walmart, but i would reccommend you get them at a petstore, or on ebay.
Call around, Petsmart and Petco will both price match competitors. Otherwise try craigslist. Source(s): Work for Petsmart
i think you could stir to petsmart or petco
your local petstore. Look on craigslist and your local newspaper for people selling them, theres usually plenty, but if you're buying a used one product sure its sealed well, no cracks, etc. Id be best to buy them unknown, most petstores (especially petsmart and petco) will have whole kit that come with a filter, heater, cover, street light, etc. A good place to check out is petco.com and you can make a custom reservoir, different sizes, shapes, stands, etc. but it can be kind of pricey
www.craigslist.com, I got mine bad there and saved a ton of money. Hope this help. Source(s): It's good because it's not an auction and you deal beside the people directly.
go to google and you will know
