If you are in the UK , check out Wilkinson's, they hold them at reasonable prices. Another shop where I enjoy seen them at a good price is Boyes. They tend to be contained by the East Midlands.
Another good place to find them would be a market. There is a stall on the bazaar in the Victoria Centre, Nottingham that sells them. Check out your local market.
i hold just started making my own salsa, chutneys and pickles
you will be hard pushed to fashion 2 or 3 jars at a time, and TBH why would you want to when you can make a big delivery in one go that keep for ages?
anyways, i looked and looked for these jars and was horrified at some of the prices, in the future a few weeks ago i was at the cash&carry buying loads of giftbags and notice they had them at a quarter of the price anywhere else had them, i am contained by the uk, depends where you are, but to get them for below a pound was awesome for me
This is my mum's thing to do too, it's fab for pressies!! All she does is save jar that she uses, washes them out and steralises them before reusing them (she's recycle too)! You can buy new lids/sealing bits and bobs at most cookware shops or possibly supermarkets or have a look at lakeland.co.uk.
