What's realistically the best track to breed a complaint just about a policeman contained by the UK?

I have a problem with a county police force contained by the South-East.Where exactly should I do?Who is the best place to go for advice/help?
Answers:
if it is about a fastidious officer or group of officers then you should ring up into their control room/contact centre they will then pinch full details of the complaint and pass it to the local supervisory whether it be a Sgt or inspector and they will ring back to discuss the concern. if you are making a complaint re the whole force then you call for to go to citizens advice and to the Independent Police Complaints Commissions, however it have better be a genuine complaint because time wasting is obviously not tolerated and depending on the circumstances could organize to legal action against the creature making false allegations. All complaints are taken seriously and on an individual basis. Source(s): Work in a police control room
call the police
Oh! boy - Good Luck on that one - you are dicing with- ONE LAW FOR YOU ONE FOR THEM Source(s): Past Exp. Family matter
You have get them by the short and curlies mate. Just march up to the desk and say "I want to receive a complaint"

ps go into Tesco and get yourself a tin of brown boot polish first. Cover your obverse with it and this will ensure they take your complaint even more seriously.
There is an official police complaints body. It's probably better to desire it out on the web than ring the local police. I can't help thinking though, that it is hugely difficult to successfully complain about thepolice. They are pretty tight and you would need a pretty substantial complaint to hold it taken seriously. Good luck.
CAB.......They will tell you what to do.. or only go around there and see ***....
Speak to your MP.
What the whole Police force ..within the south east ...
one Police or even two police I can help but the whole
Police force ..no sorry can't sustain
Contact the IPCC.
Mr sceptic ARE YOU REAL? if this guy goes into a police station and complains they will construct his life hell! i`ve been told that if you even shift to the ipcc they still harrass you even more!if i was you i`d go to your local rag with evidence of what the police are up too! oh and i couldn`t agree more with quotation to the boot polish either,it might not sound nice but it is the truth!something this SPINELESS GOVERNMENT dont close to telling the white british public!
If its about an individual officer go to the chief constable of the station where on earth he works, they will ask if you are making an informal or formal complaint, one of which gets him severly reprimanded another means going to court.Ive have an informal complaint made against an office and had the chief come to my home and have a very nice appology letter and be told that the office had be warned and almost lost his job.
Is it a POLICEMAN or the whole of the Police Force in the County of Kent ?
If you enjoy a genuine legitimate complaint and really believe you enjoy a good case, afterwards put it in writing to the Chief Constable and I am sure it will be investigated. The question as you put it is tenuous in so much we do not know the nature of your alleged complaint. Is it of a criminal humour, rudeness or something else.
As stated, if you are genuine, seek the assistance of the court profession, either direct or through the Citizens Advice Bureau.
The IPCC has to investigate all serious complaints.

However, if your complaint is surrounded by reponse to you being arrested or investigated for a crime, don't bother. We find that a lot of scumbags routinely complain after they've be nicked, thinking that they might, if they're lucky get the cop who nick them sacked because they bear a grudge for anyone caught acting like a ****, all that happen is the cop gets investigated, found not guilty and you get fined for wasting police time because you made the integral thing up.
Good luck.
Keep cool and sooner get a solicitor to act for you.

I've made complaints to the the police before.

I wrote to the Inspector (sent to the police station via the 'Officer within Charge')
They treated the complaints seriously and me with respect. I think it be because I did it with a bit of tact. I mentioned all the things i thought they have done really well, but then mentioned the things I feel had let down the service.
I've not be victimised by them as a result, but who know what they say about me at the rear my back!
It really depends on the complaint you have to gross and why.

My advice would be go to CAB for direction. Write the police a nice letter, explaining good and bleak points and ask how they expect to deal with the situation. Keep a copy of the memorandum.

The police provide a service and that service cant be improved unless they are told whats wrong.
Just dont go surrounded by there with adjectives guns blazing!
Ultimately, whoever you complain to, the police will basically police themselves.

If you make any sort of serious complaint, expect lies, cover-ups and a swift brush under the hearth rug.

Good luck. Source(s): experience

the best place to appropriate the best action my friend :)
It really depends exactly what your complaint is.

You can contact your local police service and tell them you wish to form a complaint. In the first instance they will probably have an Inspector get contained by touch with you to speak about any issues you may enjoy.

It maybe that the complaint can be resolved this way. If not, I am pretty sure they will give you full details of who to contact and where contained by order to take your complaint further. If you do hold a meeting with an Inspector, I would suggest that you net a list of the concerns you wish to bring up and information replies given. Make sure you keep a note of the Inspectors christen and the date and time of any conversations.
Spray paint ACAB in foot soaring letters on the front of your local police station?
Report the officer to his/her seargant. That'll do the trick!
I tried to make a complaint and thought it be going all well untill it be resolved and i was told i cannot appeal against it ( even though i had 2 statements from the officer which be completely different to each other) i then found out that most IPCC officer are ex-police officers!! then lying on that the investigating officer turned out to be a former member of the same force.!! simply, they hide behind the IPCC and it really is a grip of one rule for them. i wonder what they would have said to me if i gave them 2 different stories nearly the same thing?.

the stats are within to make it look good. you may remember a recent incident surrounded by London when a guy was shot several times...did the police have any mode of warning or action against them? NO. merely a few weeks of on full pay.
Take his number and report him to the desk sergeant.
Ignore incongru. She is a nasty racist. And northy is no better.

Write direct to the Chief Constable, sending a copy to the Police Complaints Authority.
